Cortijo Pulgarín Bajo

Inside the house ‘Cortijo’ there is the old oil mill which is preserved just as it was a century ago, when it milled, with the strength of a horse, the olive “verdial” of the region producing the best oil, “the sherry of the oil“.

Oil coming out of the centenary olive trees, rich in all the vitamins and basic in our Mediterranean diet, olive trees that come from the millenary “acebuches” that already the Arabs saw being born.

This typical Andalusian mill has been adapted, to the service of our rural houses, to be able to celebrate lunches, dinners; to make meetings with friends, with the family or to play with the children, teaching them the operation of an old Oil Mill.
